Origin
Selena was a teenage Poseidonis who teamed up with Aquaman under the name “Aqua-Girl” in an attempt to impress her former boyfriend, thus becoming a superheroine. However, as with Lisa Morel her first appearance is also her last.
Creation
Selena appeared in the World Finest Comics #133 as a sidekick for Aquaman. She was created by Jack Miller and Ramona Fradon in May 1963.
