Origin
In the year 1066, a local nun named Areala was chased by a group of Vikings. Before the Vikings could slay her, a valkyrie appeared and stopped the Vikings. Disgusted by the actions of the Vikings, the valkyrie renounced her devotion to Odin and instead chose to serve “the only true God“. The valkyrie empowered Areala with her spirit, thus giving her the strength to fight against the Vikings.
