Arthur Bombridge III

Origin

Arthur Bombridge was a succesfull actor in Hollywood, known as Cowboy Artie to his fans. As a human being, he was an asshole. He was very short, but the magic of Hollywood made him a large man on screen. After he was photographed by a paparazzi when he was in the pool seducing a young starlet, he fell from grace.

Arthur moved to France just as WWII broke out in Europe. To give himself some credence, he legally changed his first name to ‘Sir’. He became a stage actor in Paris, making fun of Hitler. It was there that he met Sergeant Nicolas Highroad, who immediatly became his biggest fan.

Nicolas wanted to buy Arthur a drink. The brothel Arthur took the naive Nicolas to, was overrun by the Brotherhood of the Iron Cross who were about to kidnap Hitler’s ex-lover Sloan Applebee. Chivalrous as he is, Nicolas rescued Sloan, helped by the handy Arthur. This set them on the adventure to retrieve a precious jewel and stop Hitler from bombing the North Pole so the ice would met and overflow the world. They do so with the help of failed kamikaze pilot Commander Ki and later retreat to an unknown island in the British West Indies where they grew old together.
