Origin
Descendant of Mycroft Holmes, Artie is the practical joker of the family. Barely 20, Artie is a billionaire software genius thanks to his high-tech operating systems, security programs and about a bazillion software apps. He joined Holmes Inc. looking for new challenges. Edgar Holmes Sr. hired Artie to avoid having the young lad’s genius drift toward darker pursuits. His companies include Diogenesis and Artech Systems.
One of his creations is the Augmented Reality Technological Interface or A.R.T.I. It is a complete likeness of himself. One of his A.R.T.I. units was assassinated by Steve Venom. This allowed Arti to capture Venom and infiltrate the criminal organization as Venom himself. This action however led all of Holmes Inc. to think he was actually killed.
The Mini-Glider is another of his creations. The Mini-Glider was once used to capture Doctor Jasmina Nasim.
Creation
Artie Holmes was created by Ty Templeton. His stories are created for use in the Toronto Cartoonists Workshop. The Toronto Cartoonists Workshop is a forum for artists and writes to start, develop and refine their skills with real professionals.
