History
Asher Cross attended a summer camp along with Kitty Pryde when they were both youngsters. He heard rumours that other people had guessed he was a mutant, but later found out that they were about Kitty. They kissed after Kitty helped Asher control his power, but Asher ran away citing that if they were to have children, they’d probably be mutants too. He later apologized.

Asher can create little balls of light he likes to call Will-O-the-Wisps, on the basis that he can make them fly.
