Trapped on part of a collapsed bridge, Austin and his boyfriend Tyler formed a group with the other people that got stuck. Fortunately, they were cut off from the Crossed virus. One day, they were visited by survivalists Morgan and Olivia, who divided the group into smaller pieces so they could manage them.
Austin was sent to the mainland for foraging food. He got attacked and killed by a tiger, who was set loose from a nearby zoo.
