Orintho was a member of the Wanderers with the ability to change his shape into any type of bird he had encountered.
After his death and resurrection through cloning, Orintho was renamed Aviax and his abilities were augmented so that he could become any creature of flight that he could imagine, including birds, dragons and bats.
Aviax’s skeleton is extremely porous and fragile, like most birds.
Aviax is a skilled pilot and navigator and flies the Wanderers’ spaceship for the team.
At some point in his career Ornitho became friends with Beast Boy of the Heroes of Lallor. They formed a bond over their similar powers and teamed up for occasional adventures.
