Origin
Ayah lived in the Ar Rutba district, Al Anbar, Iraq.She wanted to be a doctor, like her father. In late 2004, the district was under control of the U.S. Army. Officer Eric Foster, becoming slightly paranoid, believed his group was followed by the same car. He ordered the innocent drivers to be shot. Seeing two men flee the scene, Eric and his group ran after them. Eric and soldier Iris Gentry came across Ayah and her parents on a nearby rooftop. Eric shot Ayah’s father and forced Iris to shoot Ayah and her mother.
As a dying gift, Ayah’s mother transferred her powers to Ayah in the form of a crow, which burrowed itself inside Ayah thorugh her mouth.
Now, Ayah has followed Eric Foster’s group of soldiers to the United States. With her newfound powers, she takes revenge on them by killing them one by one.
Major Story Arcs
Unbeknown to Iris Gentry, Ayah befriends his son Shiloh. They roam through the woods of Black Lick Hollow. She partly tells Shiloh her background. As Shiloh tells his father Iris about Ayah and where she comes from, he immediately is alarmed by it. Strange things have happened to Iris lately and he thinks they’re connected. With Iris away from the house, Ayah attacks Iris’ wife Sarah first but, when Sarah struggles free with the help of Elijah Cooper, Ayah abducts Shiloh instead.
Powers & Abilities
Ayah can trasform herself into a giant bird-like creature. During the transformation, her upper body separates itself from her lower body, wings sprout from her back and her arms become claws. A crow’s beak portrudes out of her head. She can also use her intestines to strangle others.
