Origin
Barr was born on Wreath, which has been at war with Landfall for decades. He and his wife Klara are the parents of Marko, who is on the run with his wife and daughter.

Major Story Arcs
Barr and his wife Klara teleported themselves onto their son Marko‘s space ship, believing that he had been kidnapped by a soldier from Landfall. Marko reveals to him that he had married Alana, and that they have a child together named Hazel. The two parents are understandably shocked by this turn of events, and Barr is tied up with vines while Klara goes with her son to bring back Izabel, who had been banished by Barr’s spell.
While Barr and Alana are alone together, he reveals that he only has a few weeks left to live, and then casts a spell to put Alana to sleep, before picking up Hazel, and making her some clothes to wear.
When the group need to escape a creature that was trying to consume them whole, Marko is able to make their ship move faster by throwing in his parents helmet. However, the ship wasn’t meant to travel at such a high speed, and begins to break up. Using the last of his strength, Barr uses his magic to hold the ship together. However, his heart was unable to take the strain of using his power, and he dies having saved the ship and his family, his last sight being his granddaughter’s eyes. .
