Basil is the son of Vincent Von Frankenstein. As an infant, he was taken by his father’s servant after she killed him. But this did not break the Frankenstein curse. Basil also conducted research on creating life and in the process many malformed creatures that would be kept in Castle Frankenstein’s dungeons.
Basil was paralyzed in a laboratory accident and after joining the Nazis, assisted by Japanese Dr. Kitty Kitagowa. During World War II, Basil returned to Germany and helped the Nazis by creating his own version of the Frankenstein Monster. His monster was stopped by the Invaders and he and Dr. Kitagowa were killed by his own creation.
