Bazooka’s abilities as a soldier faltered when the Joe team had shut down for a few years. He had become wildly out of shape. On his own, he worked out to lose the weight. He proved he was fit to return when he single-handedly defeated a group of Cobra soldiers sent to imprison several of his fellow Joes.
