Benny and Marvin were in charge of watching the Joker at Arkham Asylum, but because they couldn’t tell the Joker’s green hair from grass, the clown prince is able to escape. This causes the pair to lose their jobs.
Later, the pair see the Joker and Willie the Weeper on the street but when try to make a citizen’s arrest, the Joker blasts them in the face with onion gas, and he makes an escape.
Then later outside of Sandor Cleeves‘s building, the pair see the Joker again, this time Benny sends Marvin to find the police. Benny then hold’s Joker at gun point, but Joker outsmarts him again, knocks him out, ties him up, and dresses him up like the Joker. When the police and Marvin show up, they arrest Benny, believing him to be the Joker.
Luckly, Marvin noticed the real Joker later and helped Benny convince the police he was not the real Joker and then the pair lead the police to the real Joker, saving the day.
