Overview
Bernd Rechts is an alias used by a member of the First named Rehked. He was sent by House Dexter in order to study the Sigil-Bearer, Ethan of Avalon. Rehked helps the people of Avalon by becoming a general of one of the armies that protects Ethan. However, he is soon confronted and killed by the Sinister First, Tsansuelle, when she opts to take over the planet and rule as a goddess, rather than a pawn on their home planet of Elysia. Rehked’s name is derived from the word wretched and is supposed to govern his personality.
