Bertron Diib is a L.E.G.I.O.N. recruit hailing from Diibworld. He has no apparent external sensory organs, and he possesses super-defensive abilities. Bertron is seemingly impervious to physical harm. Bertron is extremely resistant to temperature extremes, hostile atmospheres, and even psychic attacks.
Bertron served in the L.E.G.I.O.N. R.E.C.R.U.I.T.S. before seemingly perishing on the planet Maltus, while shielding innocents from an energy discharge during a battle with a trio of extremely powerful ancient gods. His fellow recruits took his body back to Diibworld, and delivered the sad news to his mother.
However, Bertron’s regenerative abilities eventually brought him back to life, and he returned to L.E.G.I.O.N.
Bertron was last seen assisting the L.E.G.I.O.N. organization during the galactic turmoil caused by Alexander Luthor.
