Origin
Bill Brane hired Jack Ryder (The Creeper) after he was fired from his TV Show. Mr. Ryder was fired for standing by his principles live on TV. It was this act that Mr. Brane admired. Mr. Ryder’s first assignment was capturing Angel Deviln. It was this assignment that turned Mr. Ryder into the Creeper. It was after that, that Mr. Brane had Mr. Ryder guard the weather girl Vera Sweet. This was not an assignment that Mr. Ryder took seriously. He would often abandon Ms. Sweet to become the Creeper. Despite this, Mr. Ryder was able to keep his job by getting other assignments done. Like capturing Proteus whom impersonated both the Creeper and Mr. Brane.
