Billie Bowler is the daughter one of London‘s most famous detective’s Barry Bowler. When fallen upon hard times, her father sold his magnifying glass Squint to an antiquair. After years she wanted Squint back, only to discover it had just been sold to another woman. That woman turned out to be Cerise, the mother of Lambik. Cerise organized a hunt for her son, so he would discover Squint after solving several clues. Billie Bowler followed them and stole Squint from them the moment Lambik had discovered it. Thwarted by Suske and Wiske, who had traveled back in time to aid Lambik, Billie was caught and confessed. Lambik gave her Squint, rather having the note of his recently deceased mother, saying she was proud of him.
