Bing Ellinson is an FBI Special Agent whose career was on the verge of collapse. He had been over-zealous in trying to prevent the escape of a nuclear program informant, stealing a police vehicle and impersonating a police officer to make the collar. The Bureau assigns him to work with ‘special employee’ Millie Ohio on an oddball tip. Bing and Millie both recognize they are being set up to fail, but set out to track down the case that turns into the first X-File.
