Black Condor

Origin

Marcus Robbins was born in the Factory-City Complex of Detroit. Under the American Nazi regime, the black factory workers were slaves. They were tagged on the ear at birth like cattle and shipped away for training. Marcus’ parents tried to have their son in secret, but the Nazis found them anyway. Marcus was sent for toolbox training. At some point, he was reunited with his parents and began working at the same factory as his father. There, he witnessed his father get horribly abused by the white guards.

Marcus had a knack for creating things, his most impressive feet being the wing suit he created to help him and his family escape Detroit. It wasn’t strong enough for all of them, so Marcus was dedicated to creating two more for his parents. His father pleaded with him not to waste time and go while he still could. Reluctantly, Marcus did just that and eventually joined the ranks of the Freedom Fighters.

Freedom Fighters

After the deaths of the original Doll Man and Human Bomb and the disappearance of Uncle Sam, a new Freedom Fighters team emerged. Marcus used his wingsuit and dubbed himself Black Condor. His teammate, Cache, had the idea to steal the Plasstic Men formula to better arm the Freedom Fighters against the elastic gestapo. The formula comes with it a shorter life expectancy, but Cache believed Uncle Sam could withstand that side effect.

Cache gets his hands on some blueprints that say the Plasstic Men formula is being held in the same Factory City Complex Marcus escaped from. He made a vow never to return unless it was to free every one inside. He decided to break that vow when a couple, who resembled his parents, were killed for aiding and abetting the Freedom Fighters. Marcus was smuggled in by some truck drivers and was able to get his hands on the formula. He also saw one to many abuses by the guards and decided to reveal himself. Inspired, the worker’s joined him in fighting back against the guards and then tried to escape. The guards surrounded them, so Marcus did the only thing he could, he injected himself with the formula granting him the same elastic and nearly invulnerable abilities as the Plasstic Men, instead of Uncle Sam.

Now, with Marcus enhanced by the Plasstic Formula and Uncle Sam reinvigorated by the revolution Marcus started, the Freedom Fighters were able to successfully free Human Bomb and fight Cyborg Overman.
