Chuck McArthur was the manager of the Brooklyn Badgers which had the best baseball record in the league .
He went to the owner and asked to buy a part of the team but was refused. Vowing he would destroy what he had created, Chuck McArthur created a costume and became the villianous Black Toad and attempted to kill the best members of the team and the owner with a poisonious blowdart. Captain America and Bucky ,who were at the game ,fought the Black Toad and his men . After being defeated and unmasked, Chuck fled to the grandstand`s roof and leapt off to his death.
