Blackcloak

Origin 

The Shi’ar Death Commandos are a secret elite military unit composed of various alien warriors that come from within the entire Shiar empire. Black Cloak is the leader and field leader of the Shi’ar Death Commandos. Tasked with eliminating the Grey family and their genetic relatives to deprive the Phoenix Force entity hosts and capturing Rachel Grey, they are successful in their former mission, but fail in their second. Blackcloak however is successful in branding Rachel with a phoenix tattoo that allows the Shi’ar to track her location. Rachel Grey recently obtained revenge and killed Black Cloak, saving Gladiator in the process.     

 

Creation  

Created by Chris Claremont and Chris Bachalo, Blackcloak the leader of the Shi’ar Death Commandoes first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #467 released in 2006. 

 

Powers and Abilities 

Blackcloak posses the ability to impale enemies with a large energy spear he carries, that can also disintegrate opponents. He has the power of energy blasts from his helmut and can utilize his powerful spear to teleport or wound enemies. He is clad in dark armor and skull like shaped armor.
