Origin

After the death of his girlfriend, Chicago native Logan Sinclair bounced around the city’s arcane community for years. He got into the occult primarily due to his exposure to supernatural phenomena as a child, seeing ghost and feeling demonic presences. He met his girlfriend, Rachel, in college. She claimed to be a witch, but was mainly a dabbler in such things using it more as a way to carve out an identity for herself, but Logan plunged headlong into it. Rachel used to wear a pendant with a symbol she called a Lilith sigil. After her death he kept it on a chain around his neck. He would later try to make contact with her in the afterlife using a Ouija board and the sigil as a contact point. While he didn’t contact her, he did contact something. The pendant became hot to the touch. He could feel energy around it.

After his experience with the Ouija board Logan delved into research on Lilith and demonology. He started to pray to her just to see what would happen. The sigil would get warm against his chest and he would feel an incredible energy surge through him. He began trying various things like making wishes, telekinesis and other similar feats, but nothing worked. What he did notice was a heightened sense of awareness to ghost and supernatural presences as well as being able to communicate with them. He realized the amulet had become a charged foci for him. One day after during meditation his whole body heated up. He felt like he was on fire from the inside. Seeking to relieve himself he tried to force the heat out and suddenly everything in his makeshift sanctuary exploded into pieces. He quickly realized he could project and eventually manipulate this energy and the amulet was charging him. He began to worship Lilith as a goddess.

One day he met Blue at one of the occult bookstores he frequented. She was wearing a necklace with the same symbol as his amulet so he introduced himself. She could feel the power radiating from him and after meeting up a few times she introduced him to Nightevil. At first he was afraid of her because he could feel the malice and power emanating from her, but after speaking with her she calmed him and invited him to stay there. He did stay with them and eventually Nightevil, Cadilan and Alva all had her way with him. Finding him pleasing, he was made an administrator over The Breeders with Blue and because of his danger sense and blast powers he also protects the Breeders. He is one of the few men who was accepted into the Sisterhood of Lilith.

Powers and Abilities

Blastreign is a powerful mage, but his main ability is to project and manipulate mystical energy. He’s learned to project the energy as force, heat and even “magic blast” allowing for the creation of chaos effects, such as turning oncoming projectiles into less threatening things such as flowers or cotton balls, as well as create shields and force fields. He can draw from any mystical source and meditation and adoration of Lilith increases his power when wearing his sigil, which he now has tattooed on his chest. Aside from his blast power, Blastreign has a high level of cosmic awareness and danger sense; he can astral travel with little effort and can sense people’s emotions and intentions via his empathy.
