Brandom Alexander was once a normal man in love with Elizabeth. His life was destroyed when he fell prey to a band of rogue kith (vampires).In his struggle against the kith, he bit into one of their arms and drank his blood. They were too strong however, and left him for dead, taking Elizabeth with them. Waking up, he felt drained and crashed at his sister Tracy’s place. She took care of him, but in his grief, he killed her by biting her neck and draining her blood. Desperate, he wanted to kill himself, but nothing worked. Instead of dying, he ultimately accepted his fate and vowed to take vengeance by destroying every kith which inhabited the Earth.
Another kith named Dougan found Brandon on the streets and decided to show Brandon how to live like a kith.
