Major Story Arcs

The Hellblazer

Blythe contacts their occasional lover John Constantine, claiming to need his help with an imp infestation in their theatre. Constantine agrees to assist, but, upon realising he is being used to remove Blythe’s business partner Haluk, tricks Blythe into banishing themselves to Hell. Trapped there, Blythe encounters the captive Constantine and Papa Midnite, and offers to help them escape Hell, on the condition that they take Blythe with them. Constantine betrays them just before they escape, and Blythe immediately makes a deal with Neron to leave Hell and get revenge on Constantine. They orchestrate the kidnapping of John’s boyfriend Oliver’s children, and magically constrain Constantine from interfering in Neron’s plans. They make a deal with Oliver in exchange for his children’s souls, and drag Oliver to Hell when Constantine arrives, having just succeeded in finding another way to free the children.

Powers and Abilities

Blythe is a demon, and possesses a fair amount of magical power, as well as a great deal of knowledge about the occult and exorcism. They are very gifted at scheming and conniving, and have the demonic power to make deals for human souls. The have long, sharp talons, and sharp fangs, and seem to be fairly strong despite appearing quite spindly.
