Bolt

History

Larry was born in Boston, MA and was in a family of six. As he grew up, he was a professional technician and, for a time, made a great living. Soon, however, there was another technician in town and he was twice as good as Larry. Larry was furious and accidentally electrocuted the road around the neighborhood. He then became bitter and started using his powers for crime. Afterwards, he became affiliated with villainous teams such as the Injustice League and fought against the Justice League of America. Bolt made his criminal debut against Blue Devil. He joined the Sgt. Rock’s Suicide Squad and “died” on his first mission. In Identity Crisis, he was shot down by two street kids, after attempting to steal a crate containing Lex Luthor’s warsuit without paying. However, he later turned out to be alive and joined Alexander Luthor’s Secret Society of Super Villains. Bolt was one of the villains sent to planet Salvation. He was attacked and nearly killed by Scandal when he groped her. Later, he was garroted by Kid Karnevil when Bolt tried to attack the Joker. Bolt seemingly survived the confrontation but was later killed by his own son, Terry, who teleported him into the middle of a wall. Terry then took up the mantle of Bolt and joined the Terror Titans.

Bolt has been identified as one of the deceased entombed below the Hall of Justice.

His suit gives him the abilities of flight, teleportation and electric-blast. It is probable that he has a healing factor due to repeatedly suffering critical injuries but recovering nonetheless. It is heavily implied he is a professional mercenary/businessman, selling his services to whoever needs them.
