Not much is known about Boom-Box. He fought against Static, Icon, and the rap group Lost Boys. He was defeated.

Boom-Box appears in Static Shock cartoon series (in Season 2 Episode 16 “Brother-Sister Act”). In the show, he is a teenager named Bryon, who simply goes by the name “Boom” as oppose to his comic book counterpart as an adult. He with a speaker built into his chest. He and his little sister Miranda, who he refers as Mirage, are Bang Babies. He forced his sister to assist him in a life of crime.
Boom reappears on the fourth and final season, on the very last episode of the show as one of the few Bang Babies who joined Ebon to regain their powers. It is unknown if Boom regained his powers as the series ended.
