Boots was the start of a newspaper strip that ran from 1924 to 1969, called Boots and her Buddies it featured at first the romantic adventures a well to do collegiate flapper and her many boyfriends (the buddies in the title) as time went on she stopped being a flapper, but she was still a flirt.
