Origin
Bosco is an ill fated dog, who was sold to Young Smiley West under the lie of being a gold finding dog. Well, of course the dog could not sniff out gold. Knowing that he got ripped off West sees his girlfriend in trouble and put his horse at full speed, and in the process the horse stepd on and kills Bosco. After saving his girlfriend West digs a grave for Bosco and finds gold. Making Bosco a gold finding dog after all.
