Boudicca originates from a divergent future timeline known as Earth-8009 which spawned a gender war on Earth between men and women. In this reality, a series of wristband devices that served as a children’s toy. However, one such machine was recovered by the Sisterhood who reverse engineered it into an artificial intelligence that was a remote extension linked to the Gynosure. This was Boudicca who was linked to the cybernetic repository that contained the collective knowledge of the settlement of Milago. After Lyra was informed of the fate of the cradles, she was tasked with a mission by the Gynosure to find replacement parts to repair the machinery needed to birth new offspring. To aid her in this task was Boudicca who served mistress Lyra and provided critical information during her missions.
