Marvel
Brahama of Nirvana is one of the supreme gods of Hinduism in the Marvel Universe. He rules the Hindu gods alongside the preservation-force Vishnu and the destroyer-force Shiva. Together they form the Trimurti. Major decisions are voted upon by the three with the winning vote being their course of action. His interest is less in preserving what is and creating new things. He is often referred to as the creator-force. He is a member of the Council of Godheads and often attends meetings with the Trimurti. His role is to oversee acts of creation and create new things from destruction.
A thousand years ago along side other members of the Trimurti he attended a meeting of Council of Godheads about the threat of the Celestials. In modern times the thunder god Thor came to Nirvana to request a donation of energy to revive the fallen Asgardian gods who died fighting the Celestials. Brahma voted against donating the energies believing the time of Asgard had past and its energies should be used for new gods. Thor eventually battled the gods Shiva and forced him to vote to donate the energies. Brahma has attended several other meetings including to test Thor’s worthiness to succeed Odin and to discuss the coming of Amatsu-Mikaboshi.
