Brandon and his gang the Wild Ones are obviously based on the 1953 Marlon Brando film the Wild One. Brandon even wears the same hat as the Brando character in the film. It is unknown if Brandon is a nickname referring to the actor of the film of if it is his real name.
Brandon’s gang was strictly small time until they and other gangs of Chicago started to get help from a criminal named the Muse. Muse tried to unite the gangs to overthrow the Chicago mob as the most powerful criminal organization. When the Muse fails Brandon himself tries to do the same thing.
