Raven met Brett during her high school orientation but did not remember him till they bumped into each other on the first day of school and he reintroduced himself. After Raven beings hanging out with her new friends, the Clearwater Cadets she discovers that Brett had attended middle school with them and a point in time dated Shay. It is unclear whether Brett has any romantic interest in Raven or vice versa but the two do continue to bump into each other.
