The oldest main character that travels with Ash as Brock is 15. His dreams were to be the greatest Pokémon Breeder but he later decided to train to become a Pokemon doctor.. He later on gives up being the Gym Leader after Ash won his first Gym Badge from him. Ash didn’t accept the badge on the because he thinks he beat Brock unfairly ( Pikachu charged a thunderbolt that struck the Fire Sprinkler that weakened Brock’s Onix). Brock catches up to Ash and presents him the badge. Brock later on joins Ash and Misty on their journey to the Johto League. The three became known as the ” Original Trio” to fans.
He travels with Ash and Misty on many adventures to different regions. When they arrived in the Orange Islands, he leaves Ash and Misty to join Professor Ivy, during this time Tracy fills up Brock’s role. Later Brock returns to Pallet Town and congratulate Ash for winning the Orange League Championship. Joining Ash and Misty again, Brock travels to Johto, where he continues being useful assisting the other two on the journey. Brock was heading back to Pewter City to surprise his family. He soon finds out his mother ruined the the Gym. He restores the Gym after defeating his mother. He catches up with Ash and his new friends, May and Max. The group travel across Hoenn and then return to Kanto to enter the Battle Frontier. The group went their separate ways until Brock met up with Ash in Sinnoh. Brock later went to Kanto with Ash but soon left to train to be a Pokemon doctor.
Brock is always well-equipped with potions and food. He always stop the fights every time Ash and Misty starts one. He is also hardworking and always like to help anybody. Brock always prepares food for the Pokemon and does most of the chores. Brock is also great at making food for Pokémon. He’s the only main character that’s been mature since the start of the series and had a long time running gag where he would fall in love with every girl and the main girl Ash would travel with would pull Brock by the ear away from the girl.
