Brökk is a dwarf who is bored at work and decides to go with his friend Ulf to hear the message the King is delivering at the palace in Caumont. During the walk, he reveals he has contempt for the army of the visiting Perrault nobles and that if he was to defeat he would just do something to damage their appearance and they would become occupied with fixing it.
When they finally arrive, the King gives an order to the people that they let nothing “thrive that magic be” and due to magic-influence forcing this into all of their head’s, Ulf and the crowd turn against Brökk. His strength seems to give him a good start at defending himself but it seems likely he died or was severely wounded at their hands due to sheer numbers.
