He resides at an abbey, protecting the bones of the dead monks. Though mortals can see him, they are not really aware of his true nature unless he wants them to be. He cannot be harmed by blows, though he has said that he can harm those who desecrate the vaults he protects. He can leave the abbey for short periods.
