Major Story Arcs

Reverend Slaggingham runs a group of disaffected and old people and creatures in the sewers under London. He often collects the beings created by the young Tim Hunter, such as Awn the Blink, whom Tim is not aware of.

Brother Salamander is one of the humans who live in this collective, many of them alive from the Victorian era, who often take advantage of surface people by selling scam magical items in order to survive. They also attempt to manufacture magical misery.

Salamander is one of Slaggingham’s workers and to a degree enforcers in this world. He is greedy and self-centered.

When their plans are thwarted, Salamander and Sister Staylace escape to the surface streets. Salamander brings some glass balls containing souls, which Staylace had originally helped collect, out with him to sell on the street. Staylace goes back in to find the others.

Salamander later tries to sell the balls with the help of some of his other escapees, wearing a sign that says, “Miraklus Kristals No Yer Fushur.” Queen Titania, looking for Auberon, finds him and berates him for his scam.
