(The clone of the original) Bubastis was created by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank.
Origin
Bubastis was cloned (by Ozymandias) from the remains of the original Bubastis, who had been disintegrated with John Ostrander.

Bubastis is able to see Dr. Manhattan‘s temporal fingerprints on Alan Scott‘s Lantern. She feeds on it, therefore John will feel a strong pull to her. It is similar to a magnet.
