Bulldozer

Bulldozer was a robotic humanoid created by A.I.M. and M.O.D.O.K. for the sole purpose of destroying Captain America‘s credibility. This was achieved after M.O.D.O.K. mentally tracks Captain America to Harlem, and Bulldozer is dispatched to confront the hero. The enormous robot begins attacking the slums, proving itself resistant to police gunfire, and projecting prerecorded audio of phrases like “A.I.M. champions the people!” and “Fight the oppressors.” The citizens of Harlem cheer Bulldozer on. Initially, it was controlled mentally by M.O.D.O.K. but his connection was reversed by a device created by Iron Man to discover its energy source. This allowed Captain America and Falcon to follow the robot back to M.O.D.O.K. who was hiding in an abandoned church. Bulldozer, frenzied by its inability to receive orders, attacks the church’s support beams. During the ensuing battle, the building collapsed. While Captain America and the Falcon escape, both M.O.D.O.K. and his robot Bulldozer were encased underneath the rubble. M.O.D.O.K. survived, but Bulldozer has not been seen since. Presumably, A.I.M. retains the ability to create duplicate or similar constructs.

Bulldozer is described by M.O.D.O.K. as being made “from living clay,” and wears a golden form covered with arcane geometry. His appearance is reminiscent of a Golem from Hebrew folklore, risen to either protect or to avenge the oppressed. It also resembled the A.I.M. Cyborg from Captain America #124 – Mission: Stop the Cyborg!, from the same creative team.
