Upon learning the secret identity of the hero Paragon and his family, he blackmailed Paragon into working for him. If Callum was to be hurt, a video message would go to the press revealing Paragon’s secret identity, thus endangering him and his family.
He sent Paragon on jobs which would harm Callum’s own crime boss, hoping it would eventually put Callum in charge of the local crimeworld. But his boss was on to him and hired War Chest to stop Paragon, while disposing of Callum. But Callum escaped and forced Paragon to rescue him.
