Origin
Very little is known about the Captain. As a young boy he joined the Newsboy Army, and accompanied them on several fantastical adventures. Apparently slightly older than his compatriots, he largely retired from the group when he was accepted into college. His character arc was corrupted by Zor on his final mission with the Army, and some time later he raped and murdered a child, possibly Chop Suzi. In retaliation, the remaining members of the Army push him into the Cabinet of Ali-Ka-Zoom, killing him.
Creation
The Captain was created by Grant Morrison and Cameron Stewart. He made his first appearance in Seven Soldiers: Guardian #4.
Powers and Abilities
The Captain has no known superhuman powers or abilities. He is a skilled football player, with a strong throwing arm.
Weapons and Equipment
The Captain wears football equipment, including a helmet, as protective clothing.
