When one-eyed hero Captain Battle became injured, his son William took up the crime-fighting family ways as Captain Battle Jr. He didn’t have his father’s flare sticking to fighting Nazis with his fists and wits, not his father’s gadgets, and wearing a standard aviators uniform rather than his father’s more colorful garb. Â However, the elder Battle forbade his son from continuing his heroics until he turned 18.Â
