Captain Carney

Origin

Very little is known about Captain Carney. He is the captain of the ship the Bluewing, which sailed along the Erinin around the end of the Aiel War

Creation

Carney was created by Robert Jordan for his book series The Wheel of Time, making his first appearance in the prequel, New Spring. He made his first comic appearance in Wheel of Time: New Spring #5, written by Jordan and Chuck Dixon and illustrated by Chase Conley.

Carney captains the Bluewing, which he claims to be the fastest boat on the river, down the River Erinin, carrying Moiraine Damodred from Tar Valon to the Borderlands.
