Captain Crossbones was a sea-going solider of fortune slash pirate who unlike most comic book pirate did not sail the Spanish Main, but instead was found in the South China Sea and around the Philippines. An Englishman he spent much of his time protecting Lady Nancy who lived on the Island of Hong Kong with her father.
Otherwise Captain Crossbones had little to distinguish him from every other comic book pirate in the Golden-Age.
