When District Attorney Markwell receives a call on the murder of Desmond Skagg, he contacts Stuart Logan and Sergeant Keith. Three people were present when Desmond was killed with a sword: Blythe Lorraine, who was engaged to Skagg, the butler Parkins, and Carlo Salusta. It’s up to Logan and Keith to solve the mystery.
