Carnelian being from one of eight families of evil didn’t like being hunted by Bedlam. So she came up with a plan; feed Bedlam as many evil souls as fast as possible. Overwhelmed by all the evil Bedlam would become evil himself. Made up her mind, she pushed the plan into action. Witnessing Bedlam taking on a group of demons, Carnelian joined the fight on his side. Pretending that she has fed up with her family murderous ways. Bedlam believed her. Together they jumped through time and space vanquishing evil in amazing rate. They even shared bed once a while. When nearing a critical mass, Bedlam and Carnelian happened into a time where past Bedlam was in. There Carnelian lets herself get kidnapped by the demons, and leaving trail for Bedlam to follow. Bedlam follows and absorbs the demons. The plan works, Bedlam is already transforming in appearance. Then all the sudden another Bedlam appears, the one from the past, and makes known that they knew the plan from the start. Together the two Bedlams kill everyone in the room. When Carnelian tries to escape she is killed and her soul absorbed.
