Carol Hickman

Bob and Carol were married just a few months before August Hopper, the Locust, was released from jail. August disagreed with the marriage and the first thing he did upon being released was decimate Bob’s farm. Bob and Carol ran from the Locust but he would have his giant insects destroy anything that might provide them safe harbor, even small towns. After the Hickmans picked up a hitchhiker by the name of Bruce, they came across the next town which was barricaded and shut tight, ready to fight off the Locust. When the Locust appeared among a locust swarm, Bruce transformed into the Hulk. The townsfolk were relieved the Hulk was helping them fight off the swarm. Carol tried to get her father to stop but he only called on his giant insects to attack the town. He sent giant beetles and caterpillars after the Hulk but a giant mantis had been attracted to Carol. With the Hulk busy, Hopper tried to save his daughter but was batted away by the mantis. Bob came to her side and kept the mantis at bay with a pitchfork until the Hulk arrived to take care of the giant bug. Afterwards, Carol said she and Bob would take care of August from now on because, for better or worse, he is her father and she does love him.
