Caroline Cameron Gull was born in 1851 in the hospital at which her father, William Withey Gull, worked. Her mother was Susan Ann Lacey. She was the first of three children, and one of the two to survive to adulthood. On April 12th, 1888 she married Theodore Dyke Acland, a doctor. Together they had two children, Aimee Sarah Agnes Dyke Acland, who died in infancy, and Theodore William Gull Acland. Caroline died in 1921 at the age of 70. Â Â Â Â
