Cell created the Cell juniors for the purpose of tormenting the other Z-fighters. He did this to anger Gohan, hoping it would bring out his full power. The Cell Juniors are exact miniature duplicates of Cell, except for their size and color. They possess all of Cell’s abilities(all of the Z-Fighters and enemies powers). Except for their durability which is much weaker than their parent’s. For instance, after beating up the Z-fighters, the Cell juniors were easily killed by Gohan. In the Dragon Ball Super Manga, All cell juniors which were seemingly killed by Gohan regenerated, thanks to their intact nuclei and were somehow tamed by Android 17 on Monster Island.
