Cheeky

Origin

Cheeky was a teenager living in Krazy Town. He belonged to the Krazy Gang, but also enjoyed solo misadventures interacting with the town’s numerous eccentric residents.

Creation

Cheeky was created by artist Ian Knox to be one of the Krazy Gang, title stars of IPC’s latest comic, Krazy. An immediate hit with readers far and above the rest of his confederates, Cheeky was soon given his own strip within the comic, and then, a little over a year after Krazy was launched, Cheeky was given his own weekly title. He continued to feature in the Krazy Gang strip too, even after Krazy was merged into Whizzer and Chips.
