Once his lab partner Viv was absent for school after she was attacked by Grim Reaper, he approached her brother Vin and asked for her phone number to work on their chemistry project together. When Vin refused to give her number, Chris began to verbally assault him and Vin grabbed him by the neck and pushed a nerve center below the jawbone that caused Chris to become unconscious. This led to Vin being suspended.
Chris recovered from his injuries and talked to the now recovered Viv that he wasn’t mad at her or her brother. It was implied that he may be romantically interested in Viv
Chris’s father Leon Kinzky captured video of Virginia burying Grim Reaper, who she had murdered to defend her son. He tried to blackmail her and her family into leaving the neighborhood. When Virginia refused, and stepped towards Leon, he fired his gun at her. Virginia used her powers to phase through the bullets, which hit his son Chris, killing him
