Origin
Cliff Powers was born in a family of war heroes. It was when World War II broke out, that he decided to join the U.S. Army, but not with the Infantry, as his father had wanted, but as a medic.
Creation
Cliff Powers was created by Gary Friedrich and John Severin and first appeared in Sgt. Fury issue 46 (1967).
